Princess 🔥

You should see this babe whining her waist. Kastomaaa utapendaa 🤣. I play Skales and Harmonize’s Fire Waist whenever I’m chilling with her because she has a fayaa one and this song brings out that fayaness.

My friend and I gave her the name ‘Princess’ because she is one in her own right. Huyu msichana hapendi kuharakishwa. She’s that bitch that makes the rest of the squad show up late; FASHIONABLY tho’.

Do you remember the first impression you had of one of your friends, if not all? I was about to type that I only remember my first impression of Princess, but on giving it a second thought, I actually do remember what I first thought about several of my friends. With time, however, all my first impressions have been proved to be wrong 😂. All I’m saying is that friendships I’m part of right now, I’ve taught me not to judge a book by its cover.

A bitch! That’s what I thought she was. She still is a bitch. A bitch because she is my friend and you’ll always catch me referring to my girl friends as bitches. That time the film Rafiki was being screened, my friend Vii was planning to attend the screening. One thing about me, I low-key love controversy. Y’all know that film stirred a hot debate nationwide and for that, I was ready to accompany Vii to the screening. I’d even started setting aside money for that, until she mentioned that she would be going with Princess as well. Me I left that wozzap group immediately.

And to think that now we’ve done road trips and dinners together, I’m amazed.

So why do I consider her my friend? To begin with, she’s pretty. This babe is PRETTY!!! FYI, none of my female friends are less prettier than I am…and me I’m 10/10 so you can imagine how hawt my babes are. She’s actually the only babe I know that rocks her natural hair, effortlessly. Some of us had to befriend loctitians just to maintain our natural hair.

Also, she has a beautiful heart. She is kind; too kind. She is one that will be willing to help you out with something and expect nothing in return, while at it. I feel she’s those people whose pure intentions are easily misinterpreted because we are living in a dark world, both figuratively and literally. Disclaimer, you remember I said she’s a bitch? You’ll experience the bitchiness if you cross her path. I’ve seen that bitchiness being let out on people on these streets🤣.

Hizo reasons zingine sitakuambia because this is a hanging line, and I’m not one to anika my friends and I.

PS: Dear Dorah,

This was supposed to be up on your birthday, 3 months ago. I don’t know why it’s been on my drafts tab for that long, but I know onions are purple and white…oooh and green as well. I love you babe.

Makena.

Earlier this week I was watching a conversation amongst 4 super women. Part of their discussion was the art and power of saying ‘No’. Coincidentally, lately on my social media feed I’ve been coming across posts of how to politely but firmly decline stuff you just aren’t vibing with. So today I’m grateful that a couple of times this week I’ve found myself in situations where I had to apply this art, and I’m happy that I applied it for the first time in a really long while. At times you’ll need to explain why you are declining while at other times, it just is not necessary.
